Not even an hour will be given to vacate flats: S C

The Supreme Court has asserted that not even an hour can be given in connection with the demolition of Maradu flats. Justice Arun Mishra rejected the plea of flat owners seeking one weeks’ time to vacate their flats.

Mishra after getting angry said they had pardoned and cannot pardon anymore. He asked everyone to go out of the court.Mishra had taken a strict stand on this issue earlier. He said the court order has mentioned that they will not consider any more pleas on the issue. Not only that the court has reminded this many times.

Advocate Mathew Nedumbara had filed a plea seeking more time on demolishing the flat.“Had clarified earlier that no more writ pleas will be heard. You go out. Had pardoned and no more excuses. You don’t know what happened in this case”, was Mishra’s response.Mishra also indicated that there was wide involvement in the case. Though senior lawyer Lilly Thomas asked the court to give advice on what to do next, the court did not pay heed to it.
