Kozhikode locals boycott BJP’s Rashtra Raksha Rally; Merchants and locals by keeping away from the place

Locals in Kozhikode came out with boycott plans during BJP’s Rashtra Raksha Rally here. The rally held in Kuttiyadi in support of National Citizens’ law at 5 pm on Monday was boycotted by merchants and locals by keeping away from the place.

Earlier, it was announced that director-script writer Ali Akbar and BJP leader M T Ramesh would take part in the programme. The rally was scheduled to take place at 3 pm from Neelechukunnil to Kuttiyadi.

The Rashtra Raksha Sangamam was also organised at 5 pm in Kuttiyadi. The other day there were no much participants at Jana Jagratha Sadas organised by BJP mandalam Committee at Ambalappuzha Valanjavazhi . Even before the beginning of the programme the merchants put down their shutters. Locals remained inside their houses.
